In part 1 of the Automatic Photo Management for Bloggers series I introduced 3 very useful apps

Each App automatically uploads your photos to the cloud while still giving you a ton of control over them.

This post will show you some of the specifics of the 1st photo app in that list – Google Photos.

If you’ve never used Google Photos before this video will give you a basic overview of how it works and what to expect from it.

The highlights:

  • Automatically backup your photos from your smartphone, tablet, or computer
  • Get cool “creations” automatically put together by Google Photos
  • Search through your photos by person, place or thing
  • Edit photos with a useful in-app editor

The video:

TIP: Keep in mind that, like any of these services, uploading photos to an online storage space does use internet data, so keep an eye on it if you have a limit.

If you have questions please comment so I can help you out.

If you like the video/post please like, share, comment, and all that jazz. It’s like jet fuel for my blogging motivation 😀

P.S. Subscribe to get a note when the intros to the 2 other apps (Flickr and ThisLife) are posted. I’d suggest waiting until you’ve checked out all 3 before signing up for one to make sure you get the one that best fits your needs.
